I hope everyone has made it through year-end close activities. It’s been a cold and snowy winter, and I’m looking forward to warmer days ahead.
Thank you to members who braved the weather last month to come for the in-person tax update by Brady Ware and the presentation on business transition planning by Mark Clower. Both were excellent sessions!
Please plan to attend our student event scheduled for Friday, February 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., which includes lunch. Colleen Pfaller of OneDigital will speak on “Launching Your Accounting Career.” We will also host an IMA Leadership Academy session on “The Art of Asking Questions.”
Registration is still open for the 1st Annual Ohio Finance & Accounting Summit that will be held at the Quest Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, February 27th. They extended the early registration rate if you register by February 15th. Please see emails from Paul Myers or the Ohio Regional Council website to register. Hope to see you there!
