Thank you to the chapter members who attended our CMA Night last month. We recognized our chapter’s CMAs in attendance and offered two hours of Ethics CPE on the topic of Navigating Ethics in a Digital World.
Please plan to attend our April Dinner Meeting next Tuesday, April 21st at The Amber Rose Restaurant. We will be offering two hours of CPE for those in attendance. Rena Sebor, PhD and Michael Barhorst, CMA of Sinclair Community College will share how they are helping prepare the workforce for the future needs of the region. Sue McMillan of Trimble will speak on good practices for vendor onboarding and management.
IMA restructured the chapter boards, and there are more opportunities for flexible volunteers. IMA is accepting applications for chapter board positions up until April 30th. If you have an interest in joining the Dayton Chapter board in one of four available leadership roles or volunteering in a limited capacity as a flexible volunteer, there are many opportunities available. Please reach out to Paul Myers or me for more information. We also need a few volunteers to serve on a short-term elections committee during the month of May. We welcome any volunteers and encourage fellow members to apply for a position.
We plan to meet for a Dayton Chapter social in May. Look for more information in the coming weeks.
Hope to see you soon!
Best Regards,
Tanya Shell, CMA, CSCA, CPA
Dayton Chapter President
