Our Chapter History
The Dayton Chapter was founded in 1927 and has a long history of being recognized as leading chapter in the IMA organization.
As of 2017, our chapter has over 250 members consisting of accounting and finance professionals, retired professionals, and students. Our members work in a variety of capacities including private and public corporations, accounting firms, universities and colleges, and as sole practitioners.
We have over 100 members that currently hold a CMA and/or CFM designation. Additionally, many members also hold other designations.
We hold dinner/educational technical seminars that combine an opportunity for networking and for Continuing Professional Educational (CPE) Credit. We also look for organizational tour opportunities and community service projects.
